ZORO-ASTRIANISM
The Zoroastrian Cricket Club (ZCC) plays competitive cricket in Division 2 of the Etobicoke District Cricket League.
Zoroastrianism is a religion and an ideology that is focused on the teaching of the prophet named Zoroaster. In general idea, Zoroastrianism is synonymous with the religion called Mazdaism, which practices the worship of Ahura Mazda, Zoroaster’s supreme divine entity.
Zoroastrianism is considered by scholars to be a significant part of history of religion as it gives possible links to Eastern and Western religious practices and traditions. According to Mary Boyce, a British scholar of Iranian language, Zoroastrianism is the oldest creedal religion that directly or indirectly influences mankind.
The word Zoroastrianism was first coined in 1874 by Oxford English Dictionary published in 1874. Since then, Zoroastrianism has been used in different religion and philosophy researches. Aside from Zoroastrianism, various terms related to the philosophy have also been used.

As Zoroaster, they believe that everything in this world was created by one supreme God called Ahura Mazda. Like Christianity and Islam, Zoroaster thinks that good thoughts, good words, and good deeds are the only way to attain happiness and prevent the onslaught of distraction.
At the end of time, Ahura Mazda will vanquish Angra Mainyu, the malevolent evil one. Zoroastrianism doctrine indicates that there will be a final renovation. In this moment, all men’s souls, even the fallen ones, are destined to reunite with Ahura Mazda. Transformed into a spiritualised body and soul, the spirit of men who died as adults will possess their healthy forty-year old body.
