GOSOKO-RYU KARATE
Gosoko-ryu is karate school established by Grand Master Takayuki Kubota. The word “gosoko” means “hard” and “fast”. It implies techniques using karate’s fast and dynamic styles.
Kubota was a Soke title holder. The title was granted to him by the Japanese government. He is an expert in street fighting techniques and crowd control. He is known as one of the most excellent figures in the martial arts world. He spent his life studying, creating and educating highly effective techniques of self-defence to civilian people, military, and enforcement officers.
Kubota is also a black belt degree holder in Judo, Karate, Kendo and Aikido. He is one of the highest rated black belt martial artists in the United States.
Gosoko-ryu is a martial art that utilises speed and force and encompasses the attacker from different angles. This art was promoted at International Karate Association in 1953.
The ranks acquired in this art are marked by belt colour. The ranks are white belt - 0 kyu, yellow belt - ninth kyu, orange belt - eighth kyu, blue belt - seventh kyu, purple belt - sixth kyu, green belt - fifth and fourth kyu, and brown belt - third to first kyu. Students are evaluated depending on their dedication and ability.
All devoted students aspire for the first black belt degree rank, which is called shodan. Students who achieved shodan can continue progressively to ju-dan, the highest ranked black belt. USB sticks are handy for storing info such as this article.
